Announces Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2012 Financial Results Notification
Route1 Inc. (TSXV: ROI), a digital security and identity management company whose customers include the U.S. Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Energy and the Government of Canada, today announced that the Canadian Intellectual Property Office has issued Route1’s first Canadian patent titled, “System and Method for Accessing Host Computer Via Remote Computer.”
The abstract for Canadian Patent 2,578,053, dated March 20, 2012, states:
In a peer-to-peer fashion, various host computers communicate with various remote computers using the internet so that user inputs from the remote computers are transferred to the host computers as if the user inputs occurred locally, and information generated by the host computers is displayed on the remote computers. Thus, a remote computer is able to access all of the information and application programs on the host computer.
The Canadian patent application was originally filed on February 26, 2007, claiming priority from a corresponding U.S. patent application (now U.S. Patent No. 7,814,216), filed on September 7, 2004.
FY 2012 Results Notification
